Peningkatan Kelancaran Berbicara Bahasa Inggris Melalui Information GAP Activities pada Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao

Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kelancaran berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Subjek penelitian adalah 36 siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan Information Gap Activi- ties. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes kinerja, kuesioner, pengamatan, dan jurnal pembelajaran siswa selama dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Infor- mation Gap Activities yang dilakukan melalui tahapan giving iput, grouping, understanding the task, dan performing the task dapat meningkatkan kelancaran berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa
